Helmet Cover

This is a great helmet cover. Why I didn’t give it 5 stars is I’m replacing my old one, which was hi-vis. Not sure why SP thinks black is a preferred color for commuting (even w/reflective stripes)?

All I can say is that I have not received it yet.

Shipped quickly. Fit my helmet easily. As soon as I got it the sun came out. :) Rode in a light rain today, finally, and it seemed to work well.

Looks well made and fits nicely on my helmet. I will advise more when I get to use it in the rain.

It was a pleasure to search through Showers Pass website and find really useful items. I love the helmet cover very much and will come in handy on long bike packing trips. It's a perfect item to have. Customer service is wonderful and very helpful.

Waterproof and breathable gear. I had an inexpensive helmet cover before which made my head sweat so much that I might have well as not used a helmet cover.
It's easy to adjust for different sized helmets. The tail is a nice touch.

Works well, keeps my head dry. It isn't a perfect fit but is easy to put on the helmet and seems to be secure. The tail down the back is helpful keeping my neck dry. Shipping was fast even across the border into Canada. 4 stars just because of the fit, could be better but works fine.

I use this helmet cover every day now, rain or shine. 20 mile daily commute To work. I have an extra large head and helmet and it fits fine. It helps keep me warm (keeps the wind off my head) now that the temps have dropped into the 30's. The high vis is à big help too. A+ rating.

Fit and works great. I don't like wearing hoods and this keeps my head dry during the rainy day commutes.

I got this cover days before a rain or shine century ride. We had constant rain, so much that the ride was called off after 80 miles due to flooded roads. My head stayed dry and warm even with temps in the low 50's. I had several people make envious comments about the cover so I'm pretty sure I would have been cold and wet without it.

The cover is a nice, thicker, sturdy material and went on easily and the bungies could be tightened for a snug fit even over a helmet-mounted mirror. I didn't use the neck flap, but it's nice how it stows securely inside the cover so it won't get lost when not in use. The reflective material is large enough to be useful, a good thing since I opted for the black cover.
