The small/medium hood I purchased is well constructed and effective. There is only one attachment point on the Transit rain jacket. The hood works with this jacket but flops around quite a bit when not worn over the head. Despite being recommended for the small/medium jacket, there’s no way to wear it over a helmet. Wearing it under the helmet required that I lengthen the helmet chin strap when using the hood. Wish it came in colors that match the jacket.

Have not yet used in a rainstorm, but the hood fits well under a helmet and cinches well along sides and in back to improve visibility.

I have had my Shower's Pass Elite jacket for many years, but occassionally wished it had a hood. I ordered this and it arrived within a short period of time. I was well informed of transportation and delivery status. It fits the jacket perfectly and is quick and easy to remove or install. I haven't had a chance to put it two a rainy day test yet, but if it's anything like the jacket, I have no doubt it will do the job.

I wanted to purchase the matching hood but it wasn't available. A Showers Pass representative told me it would be available in the future. The website also listed a future date for availability. I'm glad they finally produced the hoods and made them available for sale. I put in an order right away so I could get one.

It's a good quality and fits over my helmet. The sides are cut back to allow peripheral vision on the bike. The velcro attachments secure well.

Love the coat but definitely needed the hood which I now have. Excellent quality and kept me dry the first time that I needed it. Order was received quickly also. Thanks for the quality product.

Glad you had the product in stock. We needed to add the hoods to the jackets we purchased earlier, when the hoods were not available.

Hood is great and I like the versitlity of it being detachable. But I need a new jacket. Waterproof lining failed. Not sure how long it's meant to last.

In retrospect, I should not have purchased a hood that is designed to go under the helmet. That makes my helmet too tight and I have to adjust the helmet straps to make it work. Awkward to have to stop and do that when it rains. It fits my jacket nicely and is well constructed. Unfortunate that it is too small to fit over my helmet.

The hood doesn't attach securely to my jacket (which should have come with a hood on it - why sell a raincoat without a hood?!). It's well-made but I don't really see the point of selling a hood separately from the jacket.
