Care Guide

We recommend washing your rain gear regularly relative to use to ensure extended performance.

Hand or machine wash in cool water with a detergent designed for outerwear. Avoid fabric softeners.

Hang dry or tumble dry low. Avoid excessive heat. Seam tape can fall apart in a dryer, and it is not a pretty sight.

This is my all rounder activity rain jacket. It is my second one. I use it for golf, hiking and cycling. It packs light and its cut allows for a full golf swing without being too bulky. For heavy rains on the bike I would suggest the Elite jacket with the flap for your hind and a little better ventilation. I love the Timberline and it truly is my go to rain jacket.

The jacket is comfortable and warm, can be worn alone or as a layer. The waterproofing ability is good in early use to date.

So far it has been keeping my dry in a steady rain. And I don't get too warm in it either. Great for layering.

The Timberline jacket is perfect for my needs which is biking, hiking and overall great rain jacket. But most importantly was how helpful the customer service team was in helping me select the right jacket. I first ordered two different jackets which didn't work for different reasons. Then I called them and we discussed the pro's and con's of each afterwhich they recommended the Timberline. There is a jacket for every person's needs. I highly recommend talking with them to help you in your choice. They know their products so well. (And the cayenne color is vibrant and so happy.)

Fit is great, not too tight. Normally wear a L, and L fit ideally for a commuter jacket. Love the soft insert to protect chin and mouth. Fabric is great quality. Hood has plenty of room for my helmet, huge plus! Zippers placed perfectly in all the right spots. Works great with my rain pants. The only change I would make is adding a little extra length in the back for extra protection on wet days. But it is ideal if you have rain paints on, as is. Highly recommend.

The Jacket is great I’m sure but it’s just too short. I returned it before I had a chance to wear it in the rain, but if I had worn it in the rain, the bottom of my shirt would have gotten wet because the jacket is shorter than my shirts and sweaters.

I ordered up two sizes in order to wear multiple layers in the varying Pacific Northwest.
I'm a recumbent rider and have ridden in downpours that rival car wash intensities.
This jacket works exceptionally well in keeping me dry during these conditions.
The pockets are plenty roomy and the zippers in all of my Showers Pass jackets are well constructed for water proof wear. The jacket is quite stylish and has become one of my favorite go to jackets. The black color seems to have a dressier appearance than other colors and the reflectors are strategically placed.
